COVID19 - Non-Profit Resources

6/3/20 Announcement of Lewiston Pandemic Emergency Loan Program for Small Businesses. The program is to provide emergency funding to small for-profit and non-profit businesses in Lewiston that have been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic; that are working to restore normal business operations; and that may not be able to easily qualify for business assistance loans and grants available through the City’s Community Development Block Grant Program, including those established through Federal CARES Act funding.  APPLICATION HERE - DEADLINE JULY 1, 2020, FOR FIRST INSTALLMENTS.

Maine Philanthropy Center (MPC) and Maine Association of Nonprofits (MANP) have a wealth of resources to support nonprofit organizations as they navigate the impacts of COVID-19.

MANP’s resource page offers information on COVID-19 for Maine nonprofits organized by categories including: Reopening, Tools & Technology, Staff & Volunteers, Leadership & Boards, and Equity & Justice, among many more.

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARE) Act provides for numerous loan programs for nonprofit organizations. Information on these programs is rapidly evolving.
